Substitute Teachers

Season: September 1 – October 15
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic seasonal Middle School Boys Soccer Coach to lead our second team for the upcoming fall season. This team will primarily consist of 5th through 7th-grade student-athletes, with an emphasis on player development, teamwork, fundamentals, and creating a positive competitive experience.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary coach and leader for the Middle School Boys Soccer second team.
- Plan and lead organized, age-appropriate practices focused on skill development, conditioning, teamwork, and soccer fundamentals.
- Coach and manage the team during scheduled games and competitions.
- Provide instruction and development for players with varying levels of soccer experience.
- Help younger student-athletes build the skills and confidence needed to progress within the middle school soccer program.
- Promote sportsmanship, accountability, discipline, teamwork, and respect.
- Manage game-day lineups, substitutions, playing opportunities, and overall team organization.
- Maintain consistent communication with the Athletics Department, players, and families regarding practices, games, schedule changes, and team expectations.
- Assist with equipment, uniforms, attendance, and other team-related responsibilities as needed.
- Ensure student-athletes are properly supervised during all practices, games, and team activities.
- Work collaboratively with the Middle School Boys Soccer coaching staff to support the overall development and success of the program.
Season Commitment
The coaching commitment will run approximately September 1 through October 15 and will include practices and scheduled games throughout the season. The coach should be prepared to take ownership of the team and provide our younger middle school student-athletes with a structured, competitive, and positive soccer experience.
